Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

This week’s edition is on “Yokohama Night Flowers”.

“Yokohama Night Flowers and GREENxEXPO 2027” is a five-minute fireworks display that lights up the Port of Yokohama at night. Fireworks with a flower and green theme are launched mainly on weekends throughout the year, including in winter, creating beautiful blooms in the night sky over Yokohama Port!

With just 500 days to go until "GREEN×EXPO 2027," the period until the end of the event is being used as a collaborative campaign period to boost excitement!

The fireworks are due to be launched on around 27 days in the year, the most in the Tokyo metropolitan area. This week, on Saturday 22nd November, they will be launched for five minutes from 7pm at Shinko Pier.

This year's year-end fireworks will be a five-minute display starting at 7pm on Wednesday 31st December. For details on the launch date and time, please see the website.

As well as this, "THE YOKOHAMA ILLUMINATION," a campaign linking over 40 illuminations in Yokohama's waterfront area is taking place in November, and from 4th December, "Yorunoyo 2025," will start. It’s one of the largest illumination events in Japan.

Please enjoy shopping and sightseeing in Yokohama during the day, and at night, enjoy a fantastical moment as the fireworks intertwine with the beautiful night view of Yokohama, which has been certified as one of Japan's New Three Greatest Cities for Night Views.
