Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

This week’s edition is on “Shinyokohama Performance 2022”, held in Yokohama City.

“Shinyokohama Performance 2022”, a feature of autumn in Shinyokohama, will be held at International Stadium Yokohama (Nissan Stadium) over two days from Saturday 12th to Sunday 13th November. 

The event will be taking place for the first time in three years. 

This year’s theme is “A Connected World, A Connecting Future”.

Let us introduce some of the highlights of the event...

The stage program features live performances by various artists, as well as passionate dance performances and a contest. 

May J’s Super Dream Live performance is also a big draw!

This time, “Local Businesses/Restaurants Booths” have been established to support Shinyokohama’s restaurants and shops, which were hit hard by the Covid19 pandemic, so if you get hungry, please go and taste the local flavours. 

There will also be the “B-Class Gourmet Zone”, where you can try regional specialties from all over Japan.

As well as this, in addition to one of Japan’s biggest flea markets, with around 1,000 stalls, there will be the ‘Shinyokohama Handmade Village’, where you can buy original handmade items or even have a go at crafts yourself!

Children will also be able to ride a road train that travels around the event venue, and enjoy large play equipment at Entertainment Land.
