The magical light event "Oimachi Illumination 2025" is being held in the area in front of Oimachi Station.

In addition to approximately 60,000 light bulbs, a symbolic tree made with wood from Kochi Prefecture has been installed with the cooperation of the Kochi Prefecture Wood Association, with which the event has signed an agreement to promote the use of wood.

The illuminations will be on from 5pm - 11pm.

The event will run until Monday 12th January 2026.

大井町駅前周辺で、幻想的な光のイベント「大井町イルミネーション2025」を開催しています。

約6万球の電球に加え、木材利用推進に関する協定を締結した高知県木材協会の協力を受け、高知県の木材を活用したシンボルツリーも設置しています。

点灯時間は、午後5時～11時までです。

開催期間は、令和8年1月12日(月曜日)までです。
