This week’s edition is on the special exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the opening of Shinagawa Historical Museum.

The exhibition presents the history of Gotenyama, which overlooks Shinagawa Station, in two parts: the first part covers the period from primitive and ancient times to when Yoshimune Tokugawa practiced falconry, and the second part will cover the period from then to the present day.

The first part runs until Sunday 7th December.

Opening hours are from 9am-5pm. The museum is closed on Mondays and at year end and New Year. If Monday is a public holiday, it will be closed on Tuesday.

Admission is 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students.

品川区から、品川歴史館開館40周年記念特別展についてのお知らせです。

品川駅を眼下に見下ろす「御殿山」の歴史について、原始・古代から徳川吉宗が鷹狩りを行った頃までを前期、その後の現代までを後期とした二部構成で紹介しています。

前期の開催は、12月7日(日曜日)までです。

開館時間は、午前9時～午後5時までです。

休館日は、月曜日と年末年始です。

月曜日が祝日の場合は、火曜日が休館となります。

観覧料は、一般の方は300円、小・中学生は100円です。
