August each year is “Roadcare Month”, and Sunday 10th August is “Paths Day”

Shinagawa City is working to raise awareness of the proper use of roads so that their role and importance is recognized by all and they are always used in a safe manner, while utilizing their space and beauty.

Roads are an indispensable and important asset to us.

Placing curb ramps or signs on the road can impede traffic and cause traffic accidents.

Please be considerate of the elderly, visually impaired, and wheelchair users, and do not install or leave anything on roads that could become obstacles.

毎年8月は「道路ふれあい月間」、8月10日(日曜日)は「道の日」です。

品川区では、皆さんに、道路の役割や重要性を再認識し、常に広く・美しく・安全に利用していただくため、道路の正しい利用の啓発などを行っています。

道路は、私たちに欠かすことのできない大切な財産です。

段差解消ブロックや置き看板を道路上に置いてしまうと、通行の妨げや交通事故の原因になります。

お年寄りや目の不自由な方、車いすを利用している方などにも配慮し、道路上に障害となるものを設置や放置をしないようにしましょう。
