This week’s edition is on a food drive, where people bring unused surplus food from their homes for donation to social welfare councils, food banks, and other places.

The city asks for your kind cooperation in order to reduce food waste.

Donations will be accepted at the following locations:

・Environment Promotion Subsection, Environment Section, Shinagawa City Office

・Ecoru Togoshi

・Yashio Children's Center

・Ito-Yokado Oimachi Branch

・6 Family Mart stores

・10 Lawson stores.

Food items that can be accepted include:

・Rice, pasta, dried noodles

・Instant foods, vacuum packed meals, canned goods

・Tea, coffee

・Condiments, etc.

品川区から、フードドライブについてのお知らせです。

フードドライブとは、ご家庭で使われずに余っている食品を持ち寄り、それらの食品を社会福祉協議会やフードバンクなどに寄付する活動です。

食品ロス削減のため、ご協力をお願いします。

受付場所は、

・品川区役所　環境課　環境推進係

・エコルとごし

・八潮児童センター

・イトーヨーカドー 大井町店

・ファミリーマート 6店舗

・ローソン 10店舗です。

受け付けできる食品は、

・お米、パスタ、乾麺

・インスタント食品、レトルト食品、缶詰

・お茶、コーヒー

・調味料などです。
